PACE Part-Time Senior Supervisor Role

PACE is recruiting a Senior Supervisor to work in schools with Pastoral Care Workers, Designated Safeguarding Leads and Senior Leadership Team members.

The role is part-time at 6 hours a week for 45 weeks a year and is very flexible. Salary £29,000 - £31,000 full-time equivalent (dependent on experience).
To start: ASAP

Purpose of the role: To work in schools to provide the PACE professional supervision service to Pastoral Care Workers, Designated Safeguarding Leads and Senior Leadership Team members. PACE is currently supporting 30 Pastoral Care Workers and Senior Leadership Team members in 18 schools across the area.

Are you the person we're looking for?

  • You have 5 years’ experience of therapeutic work in an education or social care setting with children or young people.

  • You have experience of pastoral care work, multi-agency working, managing others and of organising a demanding workload.

  • You are a member of the BACP or similar professional body.

  • You have a clear Christian ethos with a balanced approach to difficulties in life.

  • You are able to work effectively on your own as well as part of a team.

  • You will bring a pioneering attitude to the development of the position.

  • You have a comprehensive understanding of child development.

  • You have excellent interpersonal skills.
